GAMTOOS WATER USER ASSOCIATION INVITES TENDERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF APPROXIMATELY 3KM OF STEEL AND PVC BULK PIPELINES, RANGING IN DIAMETER FROM DN300 TO DN500 TO SUPPLY BULK RAW WATER TO IRRIGATION UNITS 2 TO UNIT 5, INCLUDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW CHAMBERS AND SHUTDOWNS /TIE-INS TO EXISTING IRRIGATION PIPEWORK, AND CATHODIC PROTECTION OF THE NEW STEEL PIPELINES.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 7CE or 7SD or higher.
Only tenderers who has a CIDB grading of 7CE (Civil and Building).
Tenderers are required to achieve at least 30% Contract Participation Goals (CPG) including a minimum 5% Black Women
Participation of the value of goods, services and works paid to one or more Enterprises (CPG Partner/s) as agreed with GWUA before contract award. Tenderers who are the main contractor (irrespective of BBBEE classification) are not exempt from this requirement and are still required to have a CPG Partner. are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R1,000.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Tender documents must be purchased from 31/10/2025 until 06/11/2025.

PoP must be emailed to info@gamtooswater.co.za, thereafter a link will be forwarded to download the tender document. The PoP must be produced at the Compulsory Clarification meeting. No prospective tenderers will be allowed to attend this compulsory meeting without the proof of payment.
Prospective Tenderers must print and bring “Form T.2.2.5 Proof of Attendance at the Compulsory Clarification Meeting (Volume 2)” to the meeting for signing.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place at Eastern Cape; Keiskammahoek; Seven Stars Dairy, located at 32°41’12.77″S, 27°07’50.04″E on 07 November 2025 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, November 28, 2025.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
