The area of operation of the water users’ association includes all properties with water use entitlements (in terms of Section 22(1) of the National Water Act in the catchments of the Gamtoos, Kabeljous and Baviaanskloof.

The area of operation of the Association is situated entirely in the Eastern Cape Province – within the Mzimvubu to Tsitsikamma Water Management Area.
Day-to-day operations are managed by a skilled team heading up a Water, Mechanical and Civil division, with the association’s CEO at the head.
Strategically, the water users’ association is overseen by a Management Committee, with 21 seats, and voting rights as follows:

The majority of representatives on the MANCO are elected yearly at the annual AGM.
