Procurement for valves and fittings (FIXED PRICE)
GAMTOOS WATER USER ASSOCIATION
Tenders are invited for the supply of valves and fittings as part of the KEISKAMMAHOEK PIPELINE REHABILITATION PROJECT as service providers to the Department of Water and Sanitation.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE REQUIRED:

| Clamp on Ultrasonic flow meters | 18 September 2024 |
| Viking Johnson flexible couplings | 18 September 2024 |
| SANS 1123 mild steel flange | 18 September 2024 |
Items must be according to DWS specifications.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS THAT ARE PART OF THE TENDER:
- Pricing and Specification schedule: Schedule A (Everything should be priced on the schedule).
- CIPRO documents drawn no later than the 1st of July 2024.
- Letter re: Authorized signature/s (Include copies of ID’s of signatories.)
- Tax clearance certificate (pin)
- BEEE certificate (certified and current)
- SBD 6.1
- ISO 9001 Accreditation
- Declaration by the supplier that the order will be delivered by the due dates and that the order will adhere to the specifications as required in Schedule A.
Should this declaration not be included in your tender. Your tender will be disqualified. (Declaration can be found on the website).
THE EVALUATION OF THE TENDER WILL BE DONE IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:
- PHASE 1: Mandatory Requirements.
Failure to comply will render your bid non-responsive and it will be disqualified.
- PHASE 2: Evaluation of Price and Specific Goals
- The cost of delivery and off-loading should be quoted separately as per Schedule A.
Tenders will be evaluated according to the 80/20 Preference Point System of the Preferential Procurement Regulation, 2022.
DELIVERY:
- The successful bidder should deliver no later than the dates stated in paragraph 2 of this advertisement (Please confirm that you will adhere to the deadline. The delivery of these valves and fittings are part of a tight schedule and failure to deliver will result in penalties to the contractors for not completing the project in time.)
- DELIVERY ADDRESS OF VALVES AND FITTINGS: Seven Stars Dairy Trust, Keiskammahoek Irrigation Scheme, Amathola, Eastern Cape.
Note that there is no manpower to assist with the delivery of these items, therefore costing should include delivery and offloading cost.
- Payment will be made to the successful bidder after delivery and the products have been found to be conforming to requirements.
Any tenders not conforming to requirements as stated in this tender, will be disqualified.
Gamtoos Water reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part or not at all.

It should reach the Gamtoos Water office by the 2nd of August 2024, 15h00. Any tenders received after that date and time will be disqualified. (Tender will be awarded by 6 August 2024.)
Your tender envelope should clearly be marked: KEISKAMMAHOEK, PIPELINE REHABILITATION, VALVES AND FITTINGS.
It should be sealed.
Should your tender be couriered, the onus is on the Supplier to make sure that it has been received in time and deposited into the tender box.
